Last year the first REWIND FESTIVAL, lovingly dedicated to staging and celebrating the best of 1980s music, burst onto the festival scene in the green and pleasant surrounds of historic Henley-on-Thames, best known for its Regatta and cream teas. REWIND launched to huge success when a box office-busting 30,000 fans basked in the sunshine at Temple Island Meadows and grooved the weekend away to the biggest line up of 80s' artists since Live Aid including Rick Astley, Nik Kershaw, Kim Wilde, Sister Sledge, Paul Young and many more.
REWIND FESTIVAL organiser David Heartfield said "Last year's festival was a runaway success and the feedback, from artists and festival goers alike, was so positive that we had no option but to turn it into an annual event."
This year's REWIND features an even bigger line-up of 80s pop giants including Boy George, 10CC, Heaven 17, Altered Images, Tony Hadley, ABC & Go West, Marc Almond, Level 42, Hazel O'Connor and many more. There will be room for everyone – campers, bikers, families, disco kids, fashion victims, people with Flock of Seagull haircuts…and more!
